3. Psephology

    a. Meaning, Growth and development

    b. Voting behaviour and its determinants in India

    c. Voting behaviour: recent trends in India

4. Electoral surveys and its techniques

    a. Electoral studies: effective use of census data, sampling techniques, Preparing         

        questionnaire and tools.

    b. Data analysis with the help of SPSS like advance software’s

    c. Conducting Opinion polls and Exit polls

 

Part C (Hours: 20)

 5. Consultancy

    a. Impact campaign: feedback on candidates, election manifesto, connecting with people      b. Pre and Post Election analysis

6. Strategizing Elections

    a. A brief analysis of past elections (recent)

    b. Campaign techniques

    c. Political speech writing

 

Part D      (Two Credits)

7. Project Individual writing assignment and a group project concerning elections.

8. Internship Minimum of one month with any Political Party Office or any Political Leader
